    This category holds two 3M Petrifilm plates, both supplied through Nelson-Jameson in case quantities. The 3M Petrifilm Coliform High Sensitivity (HSCC) Plates, 6415, ship 500 each/case as 20 packs of 25. The Staph Express Count (STX) Plates, 6491, come 1000 each/case.

    Both are sample-ready films that replace poured agar for routine counts. HSCC plates handle low-level coliform counts in dairy and food testing, including post-pasteurization checks. STX plates enumerate Staphylococcus aureus in food quality control. Pick by target organism first, then by case size: the HSCC case breaks into packs of 25, while the STX case holds 1000 plates for higher-volume testing.
