Will this work with aqueous samples? Not well without pre-wetting with alcohol first. PTFE is hydrophobic by design; for aqueous work, use our RC or PES filters instead.
Is the housing autoclavable? SPEC NEEDED, not confirmed on our sheet.
What's the pore size? 0.22µm, suitable for sterile-grade filtration and fine particulate removal.
Sample volume this handles? The 25mm size is best for roughly 10-100mL sample volumes.
Any solvents to avoid? Perchloric acid, methylene chloride under prolonged exposure, and high-concentration dioxane, DMF, or formic acid are known incompatibilities for PTFE membranes generally.
