Why we don't like charging for shipping:

Here at Maxi we offer FREE Ground shipping on all Ground-shipped orders with NO MINIMUM (to the exclusion of freight and rush-shipped orders), because we know that people like us and yourself don't like having to pay for shipping these days; we all feel it's something that should be included in the purchase-price of the items. In fact, many people feel like an extra charge, no matter how small, is improper and rude, whether it's an extra "Administrative fee", "Service Charge", tip, or otherwise. 

Check out this video to see an incident a few years ago where 3 women trashed a NYC restaurant after hearing they have to pay an extra $1.75 for dressing for their salad: 

Yup. Things like the extra "suggested" (i.e. "required") tip, paying for parking, all those bogus "service charges"...people don't like feeling that they're being mistreated, no matter how small the dollar-value of that charge is. 

So...(hope I didn't distract you with the video!) THAT'S why we don't charge for Ground shipping, and why we don't have a minimum dollar-value for that either!
